4 th Day (09/08/2004)

We started early in the morning by 8am to get to the next campground in time. We stopped by in Bristol , a city which is divided by two States, Tennessee and Virginia . Also we stopped by one of the Worlds largest Fireworks Stores to pick up a free sample of firework. We signed a paper for the change of the itinerary to get to see the “ Great Smoky Mountains ” National Park. AMAZING! Just look at the pictures, I took about 120 of them and was happy to be able to download them right away on the Laptop as we got back to the Van. After that we didn’t just go straight to the campground of Wytheville, there was an really nice city (Gatlinburg) on the way and some of us wanted to see the Hotrod-Show which was going on at this time and some of us went to the Star Cars Museum . That’s what I did and it was really cool, I got to sit in the actual film car of “The Fast and The Furious” and more.

We got to the campground by 12:30am … I went to bed by 1:30am .

No internet this day.

5 th Day (09/09/2004)

Again we left pretty early in the morning to get in time to Nashville and Memphis , still in Tennessee . Nashville is a tiny nice City with the famous “Country Music Hall of Fame”. I don’t care for that and decided not to see it. Instead my brother and me just walked around, got stamps and made postcards (by printing photos of Nashville in a Walgreen’s). By 12:45pm we left Nashville to go to Memphis and the Mississippi .

I used the Laptop only to download pictures from my digital Camera; Internet wasn’t available in the Starbucks of the center of Nashville , so instead we used the computers of the public library, which is very pretty by the way. No time in Memphis for the computer.

6 th Day (09/10/2004)

We got to Mephis in time, set up the tents and went out to “ Beale Street ” the very center of Jazz, Blues and Rock ’n Roll. It’s a nice area, especially nice to see is the Hard Rock Café there, it has an amazing decoration.

We went home at 12am and slept till 8 am .
